Pregnancy Test

I have a negative pregnancy test

So you’re not pregnant. Maybe your period started, or you took a pregnancy test and got a negative result. Maybe you didn’t feel ready to have a child right now, or maybe you thought you wouldn’t have the support you would need to take care of yourself and a baby. In this situation, after all of the stress and emotional ups and downs, many women promise themselves to “never let it happen again." This is a promise you can absolutely keep! There’s only one 100% effective method of birth control, and that is abstinence!

Definition of abstinence: choosing not to engage in any type of sexual contact from this day forward until marriage. (Sexual contact includes: oral, anal, and vaginal sex, and any and all genital contact with another person.)

Does that sound crazy to you? Keep reading and maybe you’ll change your mind! Abstinence is an option that thousands of people are choosing today. Here are just a few of the benefits of saving sexual activity for marriage:

• Abstinence is the only 100% effective guarantee that you won't get pregnant.
• Abstinence is the only 100% effective way to prevent Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs.)
• By removing sexual activity from your relationship, you can have confidence that your partner is in it for you: for your heart, soul, and mind, and not just for your body.

Understand that condoms and other forms of contraceptives (the pill, the patch, the ring, Depo, etc.) are not 100% effective at preventing pregnancy. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you’re willing to take the risk.

No matter what your sexual past, it’s never too late to make a fresh start at making healthy choices. Even if you’re not facing a possible pregnancy, we are still here for you.
