At Daybreak, we offer:

Pregnancy Tests

Daybreak offers free and confidential urine pregnancy tests.

Ultrasounds

If you are not yet under a doctor’s care, Daybreak can provide you with 1 free, non-diagnostic ultrasound after you are at least 7 weeks pregnant.

Counseling

Our center is designed to counsel and support pregnant women who find themselves in a crisis situation. Our peer-counselors can help connect you with local resources, talk you through your options, offer a caring listening ear, and ultimately help you to make an educated choice that you can be comfortable with regarding your pregnancy. We also offer counseling for men via our male-mentoring program.

Our hotline is available to offer help and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 803-771-6634.

Maternity Clothes

Maternity clothes are available to our clients free of charge. You can drop by Daybreak anytime during normal business hours to browse “Maternity Hall” and take home up to 10 items. If you grow out of your maternity clothes, you may return them to Daybreak (clean and in good condition) and exchange them for an equal number of larger items.

Diapers and Formula

Clients and non-clients can receive an emergency supply of diapers once every 6 months. We provide formula to clients and non-clients on an as-needed basis; there is no limit to how many times you can receive free formula. If you are in need of more diapers, please take advantage of our Baby Bucks program (detailed below) to earn more!

Baby Bucks

Our “Baby Bucks” program allows you to earn free supplies for your baby just by learning new skills! Our “Baby Boutique” includes items such as cribs, highchairs, strollers, baby clothing from 0-9 months, diapers, wipes, and so much more! There are several ways you can earn Baby Bucks from Daybreak:

• Parenting/Birthing classes: These classes are held quarterly and make up an 8-week session of weekly 2 hour class meetings. If you express interest in these classes, we will add your name to our class roster and call and/or write you to let you know when the next series will begin! Each class attended earns 20 Baby Bucks. Attending the full series earns 160!

• Parenting videos: If you want to start earning your Baby Bucks right away, make an appointment to come in and watch our parenting videos! There are 12 videos in all, and you can watch them over several visits to Daybreak. You can schedule a video appointment for anytime during our normal business hours - Mon-Fri 10am-5pm, and until 7pm on Tuesdays. You earn 5 Baby Bucks for every 30 minutes of video you watch. Watching all 12 videos earns 75 Baby Bucks.

• Bible Studies: Every single day at noon (12pm), Daybreak offers an ongoing, drop-in Bible study. Come anytime; there’s no need to sign-up! Each Bible study earns 5 Baby Bucks.

• Dating and Relationship classes: Every Thursday from 5-6pm. Come learn effective ways to date and relate to the opposite sex, the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, and talk about what’s really going on in your life and relationships! Everyone is welcome at this class (friends, boyfriends, parents, anyone!) and you don’t need to be pregnant to attend! But if you are, you earn 5 Baby Bucks per class session.

Post-Abortion classes

For women who are experiencing difficult feelings after an abortion and don’t know where to turn, Daybreak offers a caring, compassionate post-abortion class called Forgiven and Set Free. These classes are offered on an as-needed basis by women who have been in your shoes and know exactly what you’re going through. If you are interested, we’ll add your name to our sign-up sheet and contact you as soon the next series is scheduled.
